Are you passionate about both data and video games and would like to join one of the leaders of the entertainment industry which has just lunched the successful Elden Ring Game? We have the perfect opportunity for you!

Within the EMEA Headquarters, you join the Editorial Strategy team under the responsibility of its Manager. You provide analyses and tools to shape the European-driven portfolio from the ground up.

From product to portfolio, you improve the understanding of consumers and place consumer behavioral analyses at the center of all editorial reflections to improve our business performance.

 

Your principal responsibilities will be as follows:

 

  • Become the primary internal reference for the editorial data tools, streamline methodologies and expand scope of the editorial analyses
  • Run the background audience analyses necessary to support the portfolio construction
  • Assist the publishing and group teams in refining their concepts and audience targeting
  • Evaluate the level of compatibility between a concept / feature and its intended audience to assist publishing and / or forecasts team
  • Define the most efficient messaging for each audience segment
  • Takeover the market segment analyses, present the results and expand the editorial database
  • Establish basic analyses for the evaluation of transmedia content / creators
Profile

Knowledge and Skills:

 

  • Strong analytic and statistical skills
  • Data modelling and ability to create predictive models
  • Strong Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel skills including: VBA, Pivot Table, modeling techniques, forecast, selling curve
  • Database management skills
  • Data mining and data cleaning skills
  • Strong software skills including data visualization tools: Power BI (preferred), DAX language, Tableau software, Looker, Qlik
  • Skilled in R and/or Python, handling massive data (power query, SQL, dplyr, pandas)
  • Knowledge in machine learning and tools auto ML and auto AI would be appreciated
  • Good knowledge of and appeal for the video games and entertainment culture required
  • Excellent English skills required (oral communication and writing skills)

 

Experience and Qualifications:

 

  • Master's degree in data science / big data, business, economics, statistics or econometrics
  • Mathematical background
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in data analytics / science with a strong orientation towards Marketing
  • Entertainment industry experience is a strong plus
